Bluegrass registration DOES NOT guarantee acceptance into the event

** 3-Day event – 15 Open/Premier – 18 Open/Premier: 3 days of play (Friday – Sunday) & Power Pools

Friday play will begin at Noon for all divisions.

** 2-Day event – All other divisions.

Saturday and Sunday play begins at 8:00 a.m.

BLUEGRASS DIVISIONS OFFERED:

OPEN

– For elite teams, it is the highest and most competitive division.

PREMIER

– The next level is designed for teams that fall between the OPEN and CLUB divisions.

CLUB RED

– The highest level of club play

CLUB WHITE

– The middle level of Club play.

CLUB Black

– The lower level of Club Play; the highest club level before Classic

CLASSIC

– The lowest level of play.

CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE:

STRENGTH OF TEAMS

The Bluegrass Tournament has become a highly competitive and heavily recruited event. This is due mainly to the large number of outstanding clubs that participate. Our primary objective is to maintain a high level of excellence by prioritizing STRENGTH as a key consideration for acceptance.

DIVERSITY

We believe that another important ingredient of a successful tournament is the ability to offer diversity. Teams appreciate and enjoy having good competitive matches with as many different teams (clubs) as possible. We have been fortunate to provide this diversity and hope to continue doing so.

REDUNDANCY

Contrary to the DIVERSITY topic above, is REDUNDANCY. One complaint we have had is that in the weaker divisions, teams have had to play three or four teams from the same club. We realize this is not what people are looking for, and it will undoubtedly be a consideration. It becomes a difficult task when large clubs have 6-8 teams in the same age division.

PREVIOUS SUPPORT

We will certainly consider the support you have shown for this event in past years when reviewing your application.

REGISTRATION AND ENTRY PAYMENT

To tell you that we are only taking teams on a first-come, first-served basis would not be accurate. This would be hard to do and maintain some of the criteria we have established above. All entry fees for teams that are not accepted will be refunded. Once again, we appreciate your support in the past and hope that the UA Bluegrass Tournament will continue to provide your club with a competitive and enjoyable experience.

HOUSING

The Bluegrass Tournament for all three-day divisions is NOT a stay-to-play event. Housing for all two-day divisions is mandatory. Those clubs participating in the three-day event and booking with our housing company are given preference in the selection process.

REFUND POLICY:

• Payment is due on Friday, December 12th^st of 2025.

The refund policy will be the following:

• • Teams must withdraw at least 60 days before the event to receive a full refund.
  • Teams that withdraw between 30 and 60 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Teams that withdraw less than 30 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds will be issued after the event, no later than the end of the 2025-26 event season.

PAYMENT DETAILS:

• Entry fees may be paid online via credit card or ACH.
• Registered teams will receive a confirmation e-mail from AES and Player First. The player’s first e-mail will be received within two hours of registration.

HOUSING

Team Travel Source is our official housing provider for the UA Bluegrass Tournament. Housing for the UA Bluegrass Tournament will open on August 4th, 2025 by noon.

• The Adidas Bluegrass Tournament intends to release playing waves by December 20th.
• Please note that the playing waves released will be the INTENDED waves. You may want to consider a two-night stay regardless of your original playing wave.
