ACCEPTANCE IN EVENT:
Colorado Crossroads is a stay & play event. In order to be accepted into the tournament, teams must pay their registration fee and meet our housing requirements. Simply registering your team does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament. Your team’s status in AES will reflect your team’s tournament status – until your team is marked as “Accepted” in AES, you cannot consider your team accepted into the tournament.
Please complete these steps for acceptance:
- Pay the team registration fee
- Meet the housing requirements through THS – a minimum of 9 room nights per team (3 rooms per night). Teams within a 40 mile radius of the Convention Center are considered “local” and are exempt from this policy. Book your hotels here:
- We will begin accepting teams on Monday September 16th.
Other Important Info:
- Please visit our Hotel FAQ page on our website here if you have questions on THS or the Stay & Play process.
- Rosters are not required for acceptance into the event, you may add those later in your team dashboard.

NOTE: Payment does not guarantee acceptance. Teams are accepted based on the order of payment received and room in the event. If the division is full by the payment deadline, the team(s) will be waitlisted until a space opens. If a space does not open, the waitlisted team(s) will be refunded.
Roster Submission Deadline:
Roster Deadline: 1/12/26
Rosters are not required for acceptance into the tournament; you can add them in later in your team dashboard on AES. Teams must have a minimum of 6 players and 1 coach to compete. Players can compete with AAU or USAV memberships – either is fine. Coaches must be background checked in order to participate (USAV or AAU).
REFUND POLICY
Full Refunds will be given if a team withdraws in writing by: 12/12/2025
After that time the following policy will be in place:
GENERAL RULE: There are no refunds for entry fees once a team submits payment except for one of the following three circumstances:
- EXCEPTION ONE: If Crossroads denies a team entry because the division is filled, the team may cancel its application and receive a full refund of its team registration fee, OR may go on a waiting list.
- EXCEPTION TWO: If a team accepts a place on a waiting list, the team may withdraw and obtain a full refund of its team registration fee any time before Crossroads accepts the team into the tournament from the waiting list. Once Crossroads accepts the team into the tournament from the waiting list, the team will not receive a refund if it then withdraws.
- EXCEPTION THREE: If, because of COVID/19, national, state or local authorities decide to cancel this event or the use of facilities we intend to use for the tournament or issue local travel restrictions, stay-at-home orders, mandate quarantine or border crossing orders that prevent teams from traveling to the tournament, we will refund the team entry fee.
Any team withdrawing from Crossroads MUST submit an email stating the team is withdrawing to info@coloradocrossroads.org with the club, team name, and reason for the drop. The time stamp on the email is the official time of withdrawal.
To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests attending Colorado Crossroads, we respectfully request that you refrain from bringing any prohibited items to the event. Both Colorado Convention Center staff and Colorado Crossroads security will enforce these policies, and prohibited items will not be allowed anywhere on the property, including both inside and outside the building.
